How we shape our own reality. A glimpse into the nature of reality

Blog

Since the dawn of time, humanity has been on an incredible quest to uncover the mysteries of reality. Do you think there is something that unifies everything in our world? Or do we live in a fascinating tapestry of separate objects and phenomena?

The ancient Eastern traditions hold an inspiring view of the interconnectedness of all things in the universe. They metaphorically refer to this oneness as the web of Indra. This belief paints the universe as a vast, multidimensional web, with sparkling jewels at each intersection. Each jewel reflects the brilliance of all the others, with each jewel serving as a microcosm of the whole web. In this worldview, the parts make up the whole, and the whole is reflected in each individual part. This is how we see life as a single, inseparable organism.

Looking around, it may seem difficult to grasp this underlying unity and oneness. After all, our physical eyes observe separate phenomena, objects, things, and people. Everything seems to happen by itself, or by pure chance, as we often say. In such a disjointed perception of life, we might indeed argue that what meets the eye is the ultimate true nature of reality.

The Greek natural philosophers Leucippus and Democritus were the first to propose that all matter is made up of atoms, and are considered by most people to be the forefathers of particle physics.  In the 17th century, Isaac Newton proposed a particle theory of light. Only a century ago, physicists were certain that the atom was the smallest particle that underpinned the fabric of all things as we know them. Undoubtedly, visible matter is made up of atoms as the elementary particles, but science did not cease its exploratory quest, and deeper layers of reality became accessible through the discovery of subatomic particles: the discovery of the electron (J.J. Thomson in 1897), the atom nucleus and protons (Ernest Rutherford in 1911), the neutron (James Chadwick in 1932), the quark theory (Murray Gell-Mann in 1963). The further the scientists ventured, the deeper their plunge seemed to be, with the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012. Another mysterious phenomenon was observed in parallel with the particle-based worldview. In 1801, Thomas Young's double-slit experiment challenged conventional wisdom by demonstrating that light can behave as both a wave and a particle.

Apparently, one of the two properties is present, depending on how it is measured. This phenomenon of particle-wave duality became one of the key concepts in quantum physics, along with superposition (an object can exist in multiple states simultaneously), the uncertainty principle (two properties of an object cannot be known with complete accuracy at the same time), quantum entanglement (particles can become entangled and share a state, regardless of distance: demonstrated by the 1997 split-photon experiment at the University of Geneva, Switzerland), the observer effect (the act of observing something changes what is being observed),  Planck's quantum theory, string theory, etc.

Why this excursion into physics, you may ask? As we have seen from the above extracts, visible matter has a mysterious nature when examined at its innermost layer. By exploring the scientific concepts of the nature of matter and our world, it is fair to suggest that at the invisible quantum levels, matter hides much more than what meets the eye. This invisible realm obeys different rules to those described by Newtonian physics, also known as classical mechanics, which sees particles and waves as separate entities, whereas, in view of quantum mechanics, they are two sides of the same coin - meaning that two possibilities are inherently possible and are 'chosen' by measurement and the presence of an observer making the measurement. So, it turns out that life is not entirely deterministic after all, there seems to be an element of influence that determines the outcome. Now, if we take a step outside of the concepts and theories of physics for a moment, can we become observers of our own lives as the greatest and most important study an individual can undertake?

If an observer has the ability to influence the course of an experiment, then it is possible to draw an analogy with our daily experiences and the flow of life. After all, the value of any discovery lies in our ability to gain insight and apply that knowledge to the way we shape our everyday lives. This means that our role in the reality we see is not so insignificant, but rather crucial and fundamental. We all share a reality of consciousness expressing itself, and each of us is a sparkling jewel of a multidimensional web of life:

"All human beings are connected to each other like a web. These webs are energetic, and intertwined, and people interact through this energetic web.

How do these spider webs arise? They arise with the first thought of something or someone. The thread can weaken, and become inactive, but it is almost impossible to remove it.

You can learn to control yourself, and these threads, but it is very difficult to sever them. That is the way it works. When you think, your thoughts, like quantum particles of light, flow along these wave threads. You already know that the visible world is a wave and a particle at the same time.

Your thoughts are also both waves and particles at the same time. And this means that a person himself is the Creator of his real life. All people live in a single energy-informational space of the planet. All people influence each other with their radiations (vibrations) because on the subtle plane, all people are connected and live in one space of wave radiations of energies. You are separated only on the physical, material level, having separate physical bodies. But in the subtle space, all people feel the influences of the shared surrounding space and each person on the planet." (Rodina, Natalia. True Knowledge. Chapter XX. Book 2).

When we begin to truly understand how inseparable we all are, and how deeply interwoven these connections are, we awaken to a new perception, a realization of oneness - the orchestra playing an awe-inspiring symphony where each individual instrument is as important to the whole as the synergy of each musician holding an instrument. The resulting masterpiece of music is entirely dependent on the subtle movement, focus, and mastery of each performer. Similarly, life as a whole, our collective symphony cannot function without its musicians. If we see and hear ugliness, fear, distortion, and disharmony, perhaps the composer is not to blame. Perhaps we lack integrity, unison, and true connection, resulting in garbled melodies.

When each string of the unseen potential begins to vibrate with its inherent unique beauty, then perhaps what is manifested is a coherent harmonious wholeness, a web of sparkling luminous jewels each reflecting the grandeur of the One Whole.

Now that we have realized that we are all part of the greater whole, each of us has a role to play in creating life around us. What we see out there is a reflection of what lies deep within us, both individually and collectively.

As creators, how do we begin to learn the skills necessary to consciously create our harmonious and fruitful lives?

We invite you to join us for the next live webinar on Tuesday 12th November, at 6:30 pm GMT where we will be talking about shaping your own reality:

- How our inner states (negative or positive) have the power to 'create';

- What it means to be a 'conscious creator' of your life;

- Whether negative mental and emotional patterns can be transformed and how to do it;

- How to learn the skill of creating the desired life events;

- The Energy of New Life Course with Natalia Rodina - the first step towards inner wisdom, self-discovery, and unlocking your true nature and the possibilities of consciousness;

- How the Energy of New Life Foundation Course equips you with the initial skills to overcome obstacles to self-knowledge.

The webinar is designed for an English-speaking audience who is interested in the work and activities of an internationally renowned Ukrainian psychologist, Ph.D. in Psychology, parapsychologist, scientist, bioenergy therapist, healer, academician, researcher of anomalous phenomena of consciousness, modern theologian, spiritual mentor, founder and head of the International Center for the Development of Consciousness Capabilities at the Academy of Technological Sciences of Ukraine (since 2010) - Natalia Rodina.
