Vegetable cake called «Caruso». Very delicious dish. So delicious that after you taste it, you will be able to sing like a great tenor and connoisseur of cuisine – Enrico Caruso (do not confuse him with Robinson Crusoe, who was eating absolutely everything!).



Beet: 5 pcs.

Potatoes: 5 pcs.

Carrot: 5 pcs.

Apples: 2 pcs.

Onions: 1 pc.

Pickled cucumbers: 4 pcs.

Mayonnaise: 300 g.


Boil the vegetables (beet, potatoes and carrots) until ready.


Then marinade the onion: cut it into cubes, add a glass of cold water, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of sugar and salt to taste. Then marinate for 30 minutes (photo 1).


Grind (on a large grater) potatoes on a plate and grease it with mayonnaise.


Sprinkle it with pickled onion and prepared cucumbers and grease it with mayonnaise.


Grind a layer of carrots and grease it with mayonnaise.


Grind a layer of apples and beet, then grease it with mayonnaise.


Then store a cake in a fridge for at least an hour (photo 2).


After that, serve it to the table (photo 3).
